What happens to our 2020 accommodation bookings now the National Conference has been deferred to 2022?

The Retreat at West Beach Parks COVID-19 cancellation policy is that guests will receive a full refund should government COVID-19 regulations prevent them from travelling to stay with us.

The Retreat has reviewed their terms and conditions which have different rules depending upon the type of booking. Some members have booked a cabin and paid a deposit and others have jumped on one of the special deals which require the full amount to be paid, so the outcomes were different. The terms and conditions relate to cancellations rather than changing a booking so they have provided the following advice.

If you have booked and paid a deposit, the deposit can be credited to a deferred booking in 2022.

If you prefer to cancel and rebook, the deposit will be refunded less a $30 cancellation fee.

If you have booked a special deal and paid the full amount, the full payment can be deferred as a credit against a deferred booking in 2022.

There will be a small additional cost if the price goes up in the meantime.
If you cancel the booking, you will not receive any refund.

Where a group of members have shared the payment of a cabin booking but a different group of members are planning to occupy the cabin next year, you are advised to defer the booking and rework your payments amongst those who have paid already and those who intend to attend Conference in 2022.
